It's May 2025, and we are in Dnipro. My friend, a German doctor who works in the same organization as I do, and I are visiting Nadia and Fedir’s workshop in the center of Dnipro. Their space is limited, so we find art in every single corner of the building. It’s stored under the stairs, in shelves, and in cabinets. Nadia shows us around and talks about her life and her art. We also laugh, because Nadia has a great sense of humor. However, the mood shifts abruptly when she speaks about the intentions behind her art, the history of this country, and life during the war. We also go together to the Art Alley, where we view the works of various Ukrainian artists. Art is the key to emotions, to the spirit of the times, and to the reality of the people. That’s why the art of Nadia and Fedir should not be hidden in the corners of the building, but should be visible, so that it can have the impact it had on me. Everyone should see it.
